Preparaing for Spring Photography

Winter has been very slow in terms of my photography business therefore I got motivated to make some post cards to give people deals and get more business. My business is very new and just turned one year old in January so it's still highly necessary for me to get out there and get exposure.

I was up pretty early due to my troublesome back pains and while I lay in bed at 3am I decided enough is enough. As I lay there trying to go back to sleep unsuccessfully there were so many ideas running in my head from what color to paint in the summer, what furniture I should get for the house and what I should make for the three meals though out the day. Finally what got me pumped to get out of bed at the ridiculous hour of 3am was when I got the brilliant idea in my head to do some photography scratch and win cards.

I went to my trusty source for some inspiration. Can you guess what it was? Pinterest!!! Of course.

I couldn't really find anything that pertained to photography but I had enough ideas to come up with something on my own.

I came up with the template and am having them printed from Moo. I ordered some pink scratch off stickers from Easy Scratch Off's LLC that are just perfect. I can't wait to show you guys the end result.

Scratch Card

The picture below shows what the will be revealed when the cards are scratched but the client can only scratch one field in order to redeem their coupon. There are four templates with the scratch areas shuffled around in order to make the cards more random.

The backside I used to give the client space to write down some ideas. I included my contact information and I am also adding my logo sticker instead of a stamp for a personal touch.

This is what my stickers look like. Pretty basic. They are just a round version of my logo.

I am so excited to get these in the mail and to finally have them completed. Stay tuned in a couple of weeks for the end result.
