Anything Goes at Eye Heart #5

First I wanted to start by talking about my fireplace mantle. I have done very little to it since I still need to go and get some Christmas decorations for it. Hopefully by next weekend this mantle will look a lot better.

This is our first Christmas in this house and I have to admit that I don't have very many Christmas decorations, aside from the ones on the Christmas tree. When we lived in our old house I always knew that we would not stay there long so I never bothered. With this house I can't wait to get started on decorating it a lot more especially since we are having all of our family over for Christmas dinner.

I have so much left to do for Christmas so the next couple of weeks is going to be insanely busy. Can you believe that I have not even started on my Christmas shopping yet? Oh, boy!!

I got inspired by a lot of the posts from last weeks linky party so I will definitely be putting some of those ideas to use in my own home. I love the simplicity of this mantle. It looks so elegant. To see more photos visit It's Overflowing.

Southern Lovely posted the tutorial on how to make these cute stocking holders. The best part about them is that you can change the pictures every year.

These burlap and twine trees are definitely what my mantle could use to dress it up a little. They are so pretty. Now, where to find some candle holders. Check out Uncommon Design for details and the tutorial.

As if these little snowman aren't the cutest ever. Check out Made In A Day blog for the tutorial.

These little pajamas are ridiculously adorable. I really want to try and make some for my kids so this is definitely in my to do list. For further photos go to Dahlhart Lane.

Now let's get started on this weeks linky party.

Linky Party Rules:

1. Link to a specific post on your blog (but not your home page) for pretty much anything you would like to share every week as long as it's family friendly. The link party will be open every Monday until Friday.

2. Follow me on my blog and on Facebook and link back using the button above.

3. Check back the week after to see if you were featured.

4. Visit some of the other blogger's posts and share the party love because after all it's all about getting to know one another and because you might just make someones day extra special.

5. Link away and have fun.
